CeCe gives it her best shot! I don’t even know how to title this blogpost. It’s days after Christmas and a lot has happened. All good of course, but so many potential blogpost topics! Since many of you have said you think I’m funny, well maybe I’ll stick with a little humor today. As you may recall, I left last Tuesday to go to Pittsburgh to have Christmas with Katie and her fellas! The traveling up there was uneventful and for that I was grateful as I knew the impending winter storm was rolling in and may impact my trip home. I met Katie at the entrance of her work party. She invited me to be her “plus-1” and I loved meeting her co-workers. She provided me with a sequenced, cone-shaped Christmas hat and began to introduce me to her friends around the room. At this point, I had on my crossbody purse, my locket necklace, a mask hanging from my ear, and the band from the stretchy hat! Plus, as luck would have it, I had a turtleneck on. Mani & Mammy…all in one day! Wednesdays are one of my days off each week and that means it’s usually packed full with errands and doctor appointments. Today was different. I enjoyed my Christmas manicure early today and later, I got my annual mammogram. Although I can’t say I enjoyed, I’m glad it is behind me for the next year. So much to do…so little time! Boy, am I grateful that I started my Christmas shopping early. Yes, I probably spent a little more than I should/would/ have, but if I had to add Christmas shopping to my “to do” list now, I’d be up the creek! It’s already December 7, and although the family calendar isn’t all fun and games, it’s packed…doctor appointments, haircuts, social visits, birthday dinner, Christmas, yadda yadda yadda! I know I’m preaching to the choir because we are all in the same boat. I’m just trying to figure out how I got there. Any ideas? With Mom and Dad, neither one of them can go shopping so my brother and I have been shopping for them…I’ve shopped for Dad to give to Mom and Joey has shopped for Mom to give to Dad. Fortunately, we had asked them to cut back on kids years ago, so they don’t really have much shopping to do. However, Mom always wants to have a few things in hand for those she has forgotten or for someone who just “stops by” in the mid...
