HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Today is Thanksgiving Eve…The Wednesday before our family celebrations complete with turkey and all of the fixings.  I’m fairly certain that the majority of us will be eating the same basic meal at some time tomorrow.  Enjoy my friends, Enjoy!

My apartment has been packed full since Saturday, with just about every piece of baby paraphernalia known to mankind!  Well, maybe not EVERY piece, but certainly, Gabriel Alexander has all of the comforts of home as he enjoys his first road trip.

We’ve had a busy few days and this morning, and by the time you read this, we will probably be in Louisville, preparing for another few busy days!   Gabriel will meet his CeCe’s family…Great Grandma Betty Boop, Great Grandpa Pappaw, as well as his great uncles and aunt and cousins. I can’t wait to introduce him to the family he has become a part of.
On Saturday, he’ll meet his Pappy’s side of the family.   He won’t remember these special times but I know I’ll cherish every moment in my heart.

Thanksgiving is truly a favorite of mine and although traditions change over time, the gathering of family and friends over a big turkey and our favorite sides is something that never gets old to me!

Today, my post is brief!  I am grateful for so much but most especially, the extended visit from Katie, Anthony and Gabriel…my little family!   Enjoy your Thanksgiving with your family and friends!  Know you are loved and will be thought of during this time.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!!
